Selecting a Just Energy plan without knowing your home’s energy usage can cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

This site is AMAZING! Truly. They do the heavy lifting for you. They compare everything and show you all of the details. We used the calculator by entering our usage and received a great set of options. We selected one and then all we had to do was fill out a very short set of questions and we had a new account with a new provider in seconds. Best part is, I didn't even have to contact my old provider and cancel on them. It was all done through the new provider. This was too easy. I will say at first I was a little concerned about entering my social security number when I was setting up the account for a soft background check so that the new provider can determine if we need to do a deposit or not. This had me a little on edge but I did my research and everything was very secured. This soft background check doesn't impact your credit either. So rest assured, this is the best way to set up or switch providers. Bar none. Will be using this service again for sure and will tell all my friends about it too.

I've used the same electric provider for many years, and I simply needed to change it up. Prices were just getting too high! This site is a must for anyone setting up an electricity service. It allows you to choose based on many different factors, including custom kWh amounts. I suggest playing around with the different providers and look at the spreads between what you think will be your home's average. Then look at the cost for 500, 1000, etc and find the lowest cost average for your specific situation.

I typically shop electric companies once a year or every other year to have the best rate for my home. I’ve used powertochoose in the past, however compare power exceeded all expectations. It was easier to compare the actual rates and showed all the breakdowns to allow you to make a better informed decision. My home is typical 3000kw a month or more so it also allowed me to see rates based on my specific usage other that prompting me to the lowest rate that wasn’t necessarily the lowest when you add in the greater than 2000 per month added charges. Once my choice was made, switching was very easy and done within minutes and a couple clicks. I’ll definitely be back.

Compare power has literally saved me hundreds of dollars on my electric service. They’re able to find me the best company with the best rates and zero dollar deposits!! Also, you’ll be notified when your current contracts is about to expire and given the chance to either renew (which most of the time rates increase upon renewal) or find a different company with a better rate. I’ll definitely use this service for as long as it’s available.

This site is fantastic for seeing exact details of every plan available to you. Gives you several options for looking for a provider including Green Energy and Fixed Rate. It then lets you see a list of plans and shows you exactly how much it would be for the month by allowing you to input kWh which in turn helps you compare your current bill to a new potential provider. Then, when you're ready to switch you just pick a plan and input the start date for service and you're off! Extremely helpful tool!

Very user friendly format. Was able to clearly compare packages to my current usage and pick the one that best suited my needs. Once the decision was made, the process of switching was as simple as completing the prompts. The new provider does the rest. From decision to confirmation from the new provider that the switch took maybe 45 minutes. I received confirmation from my old provider perhaps an hour later. Highly recommended!

Excellent page; Especially the compare by usage "PER Month". So if you had a similar apartment square footage, and have a history of you can TRULY compare prices; there are a set number of providers but they make it confusing on purpose. This makes it easy. Especially when 'PROMOTIONS" might not really be a deal. Likewise 24-32 month contracts are not a deal when it is illegal at the moment to charge a cancellation fee as a utility.
