Review Sweepstakes 2025 Q1 Rules and Terms

This sweepstake is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. You are not authorized to participate in the Sweepstakes if you are not located within the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.

1. Eligibility: Q1 2024 The Review Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to those who receive an email invitation to enter and are at least 18 years of age as of the entry date. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of all 50 states within the United States of America and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Compare Power LLC (the “Sponsor”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, their immediate family members, and those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes are subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations—void where prohibited.
2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Compare Power LLC as final and binding as they relate to the content. The Sweepstakes are subject to federal, state, and local laws.
3. Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on or about January 1, 2025, and ending on or about March 31, 2025. All entries must be received by March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST.
4. How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting a review of your experience shopping on ComparePower.com or taking action on the specified third-party website linked to in the invite email notice or the instruction web page located at https://comparepower.com/leave-a-review/ and sending an email with a link to your published review (or the name used on your review so you can be verified on the review site and be contacted in the event you win) and the Facebook profile used to enter, dated within the eligibility window of the Sweepstakes, to the sender of the sweepstakes email notice or [email protected]. You must provide all the information, complete all the submission steps, and follow the submission guidelines as required by the review tool. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Once you have submitted your review, you may be required to “verify” it by providing your email address and confirming it via Facebook Connect or by responding to an email notification requesting you to verify your address. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Compare Power LLC. You may enter only once and must fill in the requested information. Your review must be published on the third-party website, or your entry will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Compare Power LLC. PLEASE NOTE: Eligible participants submitting reviews related to this Sweepstakes are not being compensated, nor are they receiving any free product to write a review. They are, however, receiving an entry in the Sweepstakes for each review they submit. There is no connection between the eligible participant and the product seller, and this review is not considered an endorsement of the product by the participant.
5. Prizes: Three (3) prizes of $200 each are to be awarded as a check, online transfer, or pre-paid Amazon.com gift card (the choice of which the sponsor will make at sole discretion). Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $200. The actual or appraised value may differ at the time of the prize award. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The sponsor shall solely determine the specifics of the prize. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at the sponsor’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any prize-related expenses, including, without limitation, any federal, state, and local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Compare Power LLC to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner selection and notification: The Sweepstakes winner will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor. The winner will be notified via email to the email address they entered the Sweepstakes with within five (5) days following the winner selection. Compare Power LLC shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. The receipt by the winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any federal and state laws and regulations. VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT THE SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
8. Rights Granted by you: By entering this content, you understand that Compare Power LLC, anyone acting on behalf of Compare Power LLC, or its respective licensees, successors, agents, subsidiaries, and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent the exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, database rights, and any other rights entrant has in the review (and any part thereof), in any media now known or hereafter devised (including without limitation, the internet), without additional compensation. Further, the entrant grants the sponsor the additional license to modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, and distribute the review or incorporate such materials into any form, medium, or technology, including the right, at the sponsor’s sole discretion, to distribute and publish the review (or any part thereof). Entry must be in keeping with the Sponsor’s image. It may not be offensive, nor can it defame or invade any person’s publicity rights or privacy or otherwise infringe upon any person or entity’s personal or proprietary rights, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
9. Terms: Compare Power LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such a case, Compare Power LLC may select the recipients from all eligible entries received before and after (if appropriate) the action taken by Compare Power LLC. ComparePower LLC reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these terms and conditions. Compare Power LLC has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer over that allowed by sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Compare Power LLC reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to receive email newsletters periodically from Compare Power LLC. 10. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Compare Power LLC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error, which may occur in the administration of the Promotion; or the processing of entries.
11. Disputes: THIS SWEEPSTAKE IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND TEXAS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, the participant agrees that any disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Dallas, Texas having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will the participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than the participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes) and, in all cases, will be limited to USD 5, and the participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

13. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the winner’s name or these Official Rules, mail your request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Compare Power, LLC, 539 W Commerce St, Ste 1480, Dallas, TX 75208. Requests must be received no later than 14 days after the end date of the sweepstakes.
